Whyleys' Guest Ranch News - Updated October 2011
We are well into our fall riding lesson session. We now
have radiant heat over the riding area to take off the chill during the
evening rides. Lesson horses are Juan, Scottie, Smokey, Orville and Ben
( a 19 year old palomino). Orville recovered nicely from severely
bruised feet due to ice build up last winter.
Lessons with Eleanor are still on Tuesdays and Thursdays;
afternoons and evenings. Monday evening is more of an "English Riding
night" with an experienced rider and trainer in dressage and jumping,
Lisa Longtin, of Merrington Warmbloods. We still have a few openings for
riders of various ages and skill levels.
The arena is available four days a week for anyone wanting to
exercise their own horse at $10 a session plus GST.
Relax and enjoy a breathtaking view of the coulee in our
heated coffee and lounging area after your ride. If you prefer a spot
closer to the action, we now have radiant heat above the benches and
over the saddling area.
Come out and see the new arena and have a visit and even a ride.
